Privacy Policy
Trabud is a free research site. You can browse every page without an account, and we collect as little about you as the site needs to work.
When you browse
We use two analytics services to understand which pages people visit: Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics. They receive standard technical information such as the pages you view, the referring site, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. We use this only in aggregate, to see what is useful, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers process each request (including your IP address) to deliver the page and keep short-lived operational logs. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage and never sent to us.
When you sign in
Signing in is optional and uses your Google account; we never see or store a password. When you sign in we store your email address, your name and profile picture as Google provides them, your Google account identifier, and when you created your account and last signed in. A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in.
We use this only to run your account. We do not send marketing email and do not share your account details with anyone except the service providers listed below.
When you use the AI agent
Questions you type into the AI agent are sent to our servers and to third-party AI model providers to generate an answer, together with a random conversation ID so follow-up questions have context. Answers to common questions may be cached for up to a day so the same question is answered faster. Please do not type personal or confidential information into the agent.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel — website hosting and Vercel Web Analytics
- Google — sign-in and Google Analytics
- Amazon Web Services — our database and the AI agent's servers
- AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Groq) — answering agent questions
Your choices and deletion
To delete your account, email info@trabud.com from the address on the account and we will erase your stored account details.
You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker; the site keeps working without them. To ask what we hold about you, or to correct it, email the same address.
Children, changes, and contact
Trabud is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
